Signal-Based Outbound
Outreach triggered by specific observable events rather than by a calendar-driven sequence.
[01]What It Means
Instead of contacting a static list on a schedule, the motion listens for triggers – a leadership change, a funding round, hiring for a particular stack, a tender publication, a new compliance obligation – and starts a tailored sequence within hours of the event.
[02]Why It Matters
It is the difference between interrupting and arriving on time. Because volume falls and relevance rises, it is also the only version of outbound that survives European consent rules and buyer expectations without damaging the brand.
[03]Where It Goes Wrong
Collecting signals without deciding which ones actually precede a purchase.Firing a generic sequence on a specific trigger, wasting the timing advantage.Building signal infrastructure nobody has time to act on within the window.
