How an Evening Runs

What does a typical evening look like?

18:30 — Doors & drinks: informal networking to arrive and settle in.
Welcome: a short framing of the evening’s topic from the hosts.
Keynote or practitioner panel: operators, shippers, or domain experts on what actually worked — and what didn’t.
Open discussion: moderated, candid — the room challenges and builds on the topic.

Is this a German or a Dutch-German room?

Both, on purpose. Around 600 Dutch companies are registered in Dusseldorf and roughly 3,000 across the surrounding Rhineland — the largest foreign business community in the region. Editions are held in German or English depending on the evening’s panel, and the language is stated with every announcement. Nobody should have to guess which language to prepare in.

How often does it meet, and where?

The meetup meets regularly throughout the year. Each edition is announced with date and venue on Meetup, Luma, Eventbrite, and LinkedIn — venues are central Dusseldorf locations chosen for conversation, not conference theater. Follow the meetup on one platform and you will never miss an edition.

What does it cost?

Attendance is free for participants — always. We keep it that way deliberately: the value of the room is the room. Registration in advance is required, as seats are limited and editions regularly fill up.
